Affiliate Marketing to Get MLM Leads and Cash Flow

What Should You Expect From This Post?

In this article we will explore the idea of Affiliate Marketing being a better way to attract qualified and interested leads, generate cash flow, ideally for free. We will discuss the way many network marketing leaders instruct their downline in the old methods and we will discuss a more proven method utilizing the internet to produce leads who already have a pretty good idea that Network Marketing is right for them.

Getting Leads for MLM - Generating Cash Flow with Attraction Marketing through Affiliate Marketing programs

Generating cash flow is what it's all about. None of us look to develop a business that consistently drains cash from our already strained bank account or discretionary spending account, if there is such a thing today today.

The question really gets down to what kind of leads are you working with. The old model for internet marketing was to make a list of friends and family, better known as a warm market, and share the product with them. If you have already tried that, I am sure you have found the warm market suddenly turns cold very quickly. You need to be careful there, or you won't have any friends left.

Don't think I am discouraging you from presenting the product to this market for retail sales, absolutely not. If the product is as good as you have been told, then by all means you want to share the good health, good fortune or other benefits your friends and family should enjoy by purchasing the product. Just don't depend on this group to immediately become internet marketers like you. They might never have entertained the idea of being in business for themselves, let alone, working from home.

When I first got into the MLM business, both myself and my upline mentor thought I had a direct pipeline to the best recruits possible. I have been a professional recruiter for over 15 years. I have conservatively, 100,000 resumes in my data base and see anywhere between 30 and 50 new ones every day. I market an electrical device and I also recruit electrical engineers, what better match could there be, the people who send me their resumes are looking for a job, the job market is getting tougher by the day, they will jump at this opportunity.

The point I want to make here is, the people who send me their resume, are looking for a "real" job, at least that is much of their reaction when they were presented the opportunity. The truth is, not one of them had ever entertained the idea of being in business for themselves, especially part time in a network marketing opportunity. It is the same with people you run into on the street or in your favorite restaurant or clothing store. Now, you just might run into the perfect candidate in those situations once in awhile, but you sure can't depend on it working every time.

Who Do We Talk To?

So where are all these people who will make excellent network marketers. Where do we find all the people who can't wait to be an entrepreneur and start their own business working from their home. Maybe I have to recruit everyone at the airport because they surely will be the ones who would like to work in the home and not miss all those family activities. They should be the ones who would love to be available for the little league games, maybe even have the flex time to take on a little league coaching role. Unfortunately that isn't necessarily so.

We just have to find qualified prospects in a different way. We need to be speaking with those people who have already decided they want to get into business for themselves and are just looking for the right opportunity and product line.

What is really needed at this point is a method to get interested and qualified candidates contacting you. That's right, they would call you wanting to hear what your program is and how they can get involved. I mean, no more calls to friends and family. No more beating your head against the wall only to find out the prospect never was interested in a MLM business and he or she didn't have the capital to do it anyway. Enter the concept of affiliate marketing and attraction marketing.

Where Do These Qualified Prospects Come From?

I hear you now, saying: "Let me at it, what is an affiliate and to whom and how do you sell it." There are lots of sources to come up with affiliate products to market. Perhaps you are currently enrolled in one of the training programs such as Magnetic Sponsoring or Renegade University . Each of these vendors have affiliate products, excellent training programs, which you can market and start generating revenue and leads.

Your web site or blog will get the prospects attention and from there, they will be directed to a landing page for one of the affiliate products. The affiliate product will probably offer an article or video for free that will give them some helpful information on Network Marketing.

At the point that the prospect "Opts In" and signs up to receive the offer, the affiliate will get the prospect's name and contact information. The affiliate will pursue them via e mail and sales letters, offering their complete product line to them in an effort to sell them something that will provide education on internet marketing.

Once you are notified that the prospect has made a purchase, you can begin contact. This will be your opportunity to build rapport and offer to help in any way you can as they proceed through the course. It still is considered premature to present your product and unless they ask, it is suggested that you not even mention it. From this point forward, you might drip other articles to them to stay in contact to let them know that you are really supportive of their endeavor.

Ideally they purchase something from the affiliate and you have earned a commission on that sale of probably between 30% and 50%. If you have followed this pattern, you have found probably the least expensive way to generate qualified leads, free. You will hear about other forms of advertising such as Google AdWords and Pay Per Click, but we won't go into those now.

It is pretty well documented and proven that the quality and quantity of qualified leads coming from a good attraction marketing program is the best way to build your list and develop your downline. The process of the prospect getting involved with the affiliate first, enables you to develop a relationship with them, well before the mention of your product is even discussed. So, not only are you building rapport, the ones that buy are generating some income for you in the form of affiliate commissions. In actuality, you should end up selling something to a broader group of people than if you just depended on selling your products.

So there you have it, a brief description of Attraction Marketing through the marketing of Affiliate Products. This should begin to produce prospects who come to you, already having a pretty good idea that Network Marketing is where they should be.
